The forward-thinking Roadform team had a lot to keep them busy. In fact, Devonshire Park was fairly unique with its need for multicoloured surfacing.
Why were Roadform brought in?
The different parts of Devonshire Park will have different coloured surfaces. Though this sounds like a challenge, it was no problem at all for the highly trained and qualified staff brought in by Devon Contractors!
Devonshire Park’s excellent infrastructure and high-quality surfacing will make it a user-friendly site, meaning that when Devonshire Park opens, the people of Paignton will flock to Brixham Road.
What’s at Devonshire Park?
This modern retail park is already a source of excitement, with big brands ready for the launch. On site, customers will find well-known retail names like M&S Simply Food, Pets at Home and The Range, as well as a Costa Coffee.
All retail outlets will be accessed from Brixham Road (A3022) near major supermarkets and South Devon College. More than 100,000 people can drive to the site in less than 15 minutes.
With new retail outlets, along with more than 1,500 new-build homes, it’s clear that Roadform’s surfacing works were chosen to meet very high standards.
How much will Devonshire Park be worth?
Devonshire Park represents a £70 million investment in the Paignton area. It brings new housing, new retail options and more choice to the people of Paignton.
On completion, Paignton Park is expected to provide an extra 140 jobs, breathing new life into a derelict old industrial site. And Roadform is proud to have been part of such an exciting investment.
